Andromeda contributes this (22-01-2005): SilverJade mentions the City of Orange. CNN mentions in a piece a week before the predicted hit that an earthen dam upstream on the Santa Ana river, the Prado dam, is nearly overflowing: The info may be dated, but the influx is still there, and the dam is still full. The streets out of the suburbs below the Prado are far and between, potentially trapping thousands in the flood path. Indepundit contributes an item on this also: On top of this comes the comment at Indepundit that points to the ill-fated Teton Dam in Idaho, which developed a leak and emptied in record time, unleashing a horrible flood. If the prediction strikes in such a manner that the Prado dam wall is breached (the Prado has a similar build structure to the Teton if I remember correctly), then everything downstream, including Yorba Linda, Orange, and Anaheim, will be flooded.
